At a young age Adam took interest in cooking and playing with ingredients in the kitchen while his mother was preparing meals for him and his four siblings. Humbly beginning his restaurant career 15 years ago at a popular hometown steakhouse in Burleson as a dishwasher, Chef Holt quickly climbed the ladder in the culinary industry. Adam was awarded “Best Teen Chef in America” in 2002 thru the Art Institutes, and ever since has progressively worked towards furthering his culinary knowledge and skills. Receiving guidance and valuable knowledge from talented Chefs like Paul Miller of Piazza in the Village, James Slaughter of Walnut Creek Country Club, Toby Tindall of the Historic Hilton Hotel, and James Morris of the Renaissance Worthington Hotel, he was able to take on manager roles early in his career.

Now at Ferre, an Italian and Tuscan inspired restaurant, Adam will be putting an edge on his talents in Italian cuisine. His fiancé, Ashley, is a pastry Chef and graduate of the Dallas Le Cordon Bleu program.

Adam has a son, Gavin, that he enjoys spending time with when not working. Chef Holt, Ashley, and Gavin enjoy many past times including cooking, movies, outdoor activities, sports, and spending time with family.
